• Hoxon Gakki Corp. (known as CarolBrass) is a middle scaled, family-owned brass instrument factory located in center of Taiwan. Originally foudned in 1989, specialized in making quality trumpet, cornet, trombone, flugelhorn, pocket trumpet, bugle, mouthpiece and other custom brass instruments. Hoxon Gakki Corp. commits "100% Made in Taiwan" quality brass instruments to worldwide players.

    Hoxon Gakki Corp. is the name of the company. Carl Lee (former English name Kim Lee) and his wife Carol Lo founded Hoxon Gakki Corp. in Taoyuan, Taiwan in 1989. Carol's fater lent a 3 floors house to Carl to start the "work-at-home" factory. Carl and Carol spent eighteen (18) months to develop their first prototype of Bb trumpet. It is said that Carl and Carol had a difficult time at the beginning.

    1997, Carl and Carol relocated the factory to an old pre-owned factory building in Darling Town, Chiayi County, Taiwan. Carl focuses OEM/ ODM business through trading companies until 2002.

  • In 2002, Hoxon Gakki Corp. registered own brand name "Carol" and started dealing with oversea customers directly. This was a milestone of Hoxon Gakki Corp. because own brand means to be more independent in business. Carl and Carol believe that managing own brand and direct business are both the key to survive in this competitive musical instrument market.

    In 2011, Carl and Carol made a decision to turn the brand name from "Carol" to "CarolBrass". The main purpose is to make the brand name referred to brass instrument, and it also helps the company to figure out the trademark squatting problem in China.
  • In spring of 2015, Hoxon Gakki Corp. relocated to a new and modern factory in Dapumei Industrial Park where is about 2 miles away from former factory building. The new surrounding is big, natural and comfortable.

    In December of 2015, Hoxon Gakki Corp. extended a totaly new business "CarolBrass Tourism Factory". This is a new department built with new business concept "when tourism meets manufacture". CarolBrass tourism factory is opened to public and welcome every single visitor to visit us no matter how good or how bad you are on trumpet. When you visit us, the freindly staff will provide a free-tour and you are most welcome to pick up a trumpet and learn to play here!
