It is always our goal to help players to feel better and more comfortable while playing trumpets, as we believe this is the only way to make more people appreciate trumpet. Trumpet model CTR-5000L-YLT-Bb/G is a regular Bb trumpet comes with a set of G key tuning slides kit, which allows players to switch the key between Bb and G(lower than Bb 3 semitones).

Taiwan President Ing-wen Tsai visited CarolBrass® Tourism Factory for a conference with local governors. Carl had the honor to plays a song for President on the new mini pocket trumpet.

Mini pocket trumpet was born and introduced to the world. Mini pocket trumpet has the patent in Taiwan, USA, Europe, China, etc..

Advised by Doug Teeter, Kim Lee decided to turn his English name from Kim to Carl in order to stay connected with his wife Carol Lo (Passed in September 2016).

The new factory buidling settled. Kim introduced his concepts of "CarolBrass® Toursim Factory" to the world. CarolBrass® Toursim Factory is an interactive factory which is opened to public. When people visits CarolBrass® Toursim Factory, they can see how brass instruments been made, get to know more about brass instruments. Kim expects this new investment is able to make more people appreciate brass instruments.

Relocating the factory to new building

Mini trombone (Slide trumpet) was born.

Kim started building the new factory building located in Dapumei Industrial Park.

The frist piece of CarolBrass® piccolo trumpet was born and introduced to the world.

Kim and Carol attended Musickmesse Frankfirt. This was the frist time that CarolBrass® showed up at Musikmesse Frankfurt.

Kim turned the brand name from Carol® to CarolBrass®. This was the frist time that CarolBrass® attended NAMM show with the great help of Doug Teeter (CarolBrass USA Distributor). Kim introduced his concepts of "Materials Offered" series instruments (using consistent material to pursuit the synergy of vibration) to the world.

Kim completed the first Bb flugelhorn prototype.

Kim completed the first Bb herald trumpet prototype.

Kim completed the frist Bb/F tenor trombone prototype.

The 50 years old factory building was reconstructed with much more space and refreshed surrounding.

Kim started launching owned brand name "Carol®" by introducing 4 different models which are Legend, Deluxe, Junior and Pioneer. At the meantime, Kim started selling Carol® instruments to worldwide customers.

The factory was relocated to an 50 years old building in Darling Township, Chaiyi County.

Kim completed the frist C trumpet prototype.

Kim finally completed the first Bb trumpet prototype (Serial number: 000001) after 18 months.

Kim Lee (current name is Carl Lee) and Carol Lo (Carl's wife) founded the family-based factory "Hoxon Gakki Corp." in a three floor private house in Puxin village, Taoyuan County.
(FYI: Hoxon is the name of Carl's father, Gakki means musical instruments in Taiwanese.)
