A straight trumpet?
We recently received an inquiry from a madam who is a senior member at a Christian church. This madam wanted to make "signal" in front of other people before they start worship. She refered to a verse (Numbers 10) in the Holy Bible mentioning that people are taught to play trumpet assembly to gather other people. We followed her description and made a straight trumpet for her. The straight trumpet was made from a standard yellow brass trumpet bell and yellow brass double walled leadpipe and is completely polished lacquered. With practice, we expect that the madam is able to make two (or three) natural harmonic notes.
